Amber Dorschner

I have worked for Dr. Van Hoozen/Valley Family Medicine since April 2002. I graduated From Shawano High School in 1996 and graduated from Lake Shore Technical College in Cleveland, WI in 1998. I am the office manager as well as a Medical Assistant.

On any given day you will see me rooming patients, taking vitals, giving immunizations, drawing blood, assisting in minor surgeries, as well as other medical needs of our patients. As the offices Medical Manager I am also in charge of the day-to-day operation of the office, such as the ordering of supplies, as well as some of the clerical work.

When I am not working I spend my time with my daughter and son. I love spending time outdoors gardening and camping. I enjoy my job here and look forward to meeting you!

April Amador

I started working at Valley Family Medicine in July 2001 as a Receptionist/Medical Assistant. I graduated from New London Senior High School in 1998 and received my CNA from Crystal River Nursing Home and Rehab in 2006. I am also BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certified.

On a daily basis, I am responsible for answering phones, making appointments, specialist referrals, medical records, and many of our lab tests. My favorite part of my position here is the relationships I have made with our patients. I like being part of a clinic where our patients are not just a number.

I have lived in New London my whole life. I am married and have three wonderful children. When I am not working I am spending as much time with my family as I can. I have made many wonderful friends in the last fifteen years and I am looking forward to making many more in the years to come!
